Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Collectors Card Vault ("the Vault," "we," or "us") handles information in its website, mobile app, marketplace, league, and support services.
Data we handle
We handle account and age-eligibility data; name, email, optional U.S. phone number, date of birth, and address; authentication, recovery, device, hashed IP, security, and audit records; profile, avatar, friends, invitations, leagues, community submissions, and game trackers; collection records, card scans, front-and-back photographs, listing photographs, catalog matches, orders, shipping, tracking, support, dispute evidence, and storage usage. Seller verification may include government-ID images and verification status. Stripe and other approved payment or payout providers collect payment, bank, tax, and related financial information; the Vault is designed not to store full payment-card or bank-account numbers.
Why we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts; confirm age eligibility; verify sellers; identify and catalog cards; operate collection, league, marketplace, shipping, payment, support, and dispute features; prevent fraud and duplicate or abusive activity; communicate service messages; comply with law; enforce our terms; and improve reliability. We do not use card-scan or identity images for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only as needed with transaction parties; contracted hosting, database, email, SMS, identity, payment, fraud, shipping, app-distribution, and support providers; professional advisers; and authorities or other recipients when lawfully required or necessary to protect rights, users, and the service. Service providers may process information only for contracted purposes and under their own legal obligations. We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
Retention depends on account status and transaction, dispute, tax, fraud-prevention, security, audit, and legal needs. Closing an account stops future activity but does not erase records we must retain. We use encryption in transit, restricted access, two-factor authentication, hashed passwords and sessions, audit records, backups, and vendor controls. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, closure, or deletion by contacting customerservice@collectorscardvault.com. Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction, and we may verify identity before acting. Deletion requests do not require removal of records retained for transactions, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or law. Camera and notification permissions can be changed in device settings. You may close an eligible account from Profile & Security after transactions and balances are reconciled.
United States, age, and contact
The service is offered only in the United States, is limited to adults 18 and older, and is not directed to children. Contact Collectors Card Vault at customerservice@collectorscardvault.com or PO Box 5187, Princeton, WV 24740.
